James 5:13-19 CSB

Effective prayers:

13. Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray.  Is anyone cheerful?  He should sing praises.  14. Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up; If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  16. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.  17. Elijah was a human being as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the land.  18. Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its fruit.  19. My brothers and sisters, if any among stray from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20. Let that person know that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Gods word instructs us as believers to live- simply stated GOD’S words says LIVE!

WE as followers of Christ have a command to simply live and tell of HIM, God the Father, Jesus the son and the comforter, or the promised Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 15 CSB

1.       Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel I preached to you, which you received, on which you have taken your stand 2. And by which you are being saved, if you hold to the message I preached to you- unless you believed in vain. 3. For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. That he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. And that he appeared to Cephas then to the Twelve. 6. Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers and sisters at one time; most of them are still alive, but some have fallen asleep. 7. The he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8. Last of all, as to one born at the wrong time, he also appeared to me. 9. For I am the least of the apostles, not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain.  On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.  11. Whether then, it is I or they, so we proclaim and so you have believed.12. Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say, “there is no resurrection of the dead”? 13. If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised; 14. And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is in vain, and so is your faith.  15. Moreover, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified wrongly about God that he raised up Christ-whom he did not raise up, if in fact the dead are not raised.  16. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised.  17. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.  18. Those, then, who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished. 19. If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone.

Christ’s Resurrection Guarantees Ours:

20.But as it is, Christ has been raised form the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man.  22. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 23. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at his coming, those who belong to Christ.  24. Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he abolishes all rule and all authority and power.  25. For he must reign until he puts all his enemies under his feet.  26. The last enemy to be abolished is death.  27. For God has put everything under his feet.   Now when it says “everything” is put under him, it is obvious that he who puts everything under him is the exception.  28. When everything is subject to Christ, then the Son himself will also be subject to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

WE, as believers should see this as our blessed hope… For if we believe Christ did in fact die on the cross for ALL our sins, then he was raised from the dead, we should also believe that we as followers of Christ have this same power coursing through our veins VIA the Cross- The Ultimate Sacrifice.  I know I serve a risen savior and have received through FAITH forgiveness of my sins as well as accepted and walk firmly in the authority of the anointing of my risen savior JESUS CHRIST. We have these abilities, gifts, power, and dominion over “everything” as stated in the Scriptures.

Genesis 1 26-28 CSB

26. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth. 27. So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female.  28. God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it.  Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.

I, as an individual, that firmly believes in Jesus as the risen savior and one true king choose to “FULLY” walk in authority of the cross and have accepted dominion over the entire earth, its time to rise into your God given roles and carry the torch you have been given.

I will close this with Mathew 18:18-20 CSB 18. Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven.19.Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.  20.“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them.”

I know someone who needs this now more than ever and I am standing firmly in agreement with them.  I pray each of you comes to understand this and receives so that nothing can dim your light.

In fervent prayer,
